The mission of the Marks JCH After School Center is to provide a safe and stimulating environment where kids can learn, acquire new skills and make friends. Our individual approach gives every child an opportunity to explore and develop his or her talents. We serve children in grades Kindergarten to 6th, In Districts 20 and 21.
A program for children with special learning needs is also available. Supervising our program is Julia Bogatykh, Director of Afterschool and Youth Services. She works together with the After School staff, a group of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals, trained in program development, childcare and safety. A team of experienced homework teachers and counselors provide guidance and instruction in various activities. All activities are planned with your child's interests and needs in mind.

Marks JCH of Bensonhurst is committed to provide quality after school care for every child. Our inclusion After School Center considers the special needs and interests of children with ASD, ADHD and Learning Disabilities without stigmatizing them. Solid academic enrichment, plenty of physical activity, skill development and a welcoming environment are created by our carefully selected and trained cadre of teachers and counselors. Family workshops are held to help parents navigate to Department of Education and its services, discuss different behavioral issues and present newest research findings on mental health. A lisenced psychologist is available for confidential consultations. For children ages 5-11 and their families.

Mini Camp - Vacation Day Programs |

Working parents? Bored kids? Too many school vacation days and nothing for the kids to do? The “J” has just the perfect solution. A variety of exciting trips and recreational activities are offered on schools’ days off. The children will have memorable experiences; learn something new and, most importantly, will be safe and well taken care of. Ages 5-11.
