asThe mission of the Robbins-Corenman After School Center is to provide a safe and stimulating environment where kids from Kindergarten to 6th grade can learn, acquire new skills and make friends. Our individual approach gives every child an opportunity to explore and develop his or her talents. A program for children with special learning needs is also available.

Supervising our program is Karina Shibko, program coordinator overseen by Julia Linetskiy, MSW Program Director, Children & Youth ServicesThey work together with the Afterschool staff, a group of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals, trained in program development, childcare and safety. A team of experienced homework teachers and counselors provide guidance and instruction in various activities. All activities are planned with your child's interests and needs in mind. 

BeTween Space PDF Print E-mail


The Marks JCH Children's Deptartment is proud to present, BeTween Space, our new Middle School Center! This afterschool program is specifically designed for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to serve as a safe space where each teen can grow as individuals, thrive in academics, and build long-lasting friendships. The Between Space program aims to provide support for teens during a critical time in their development. BeTween Space focuses on academic enrichment, increased athleticism, and creative skill development.

All teens will be assisted by teachers and counselors to complete daily homework assignments, ongoing school projects, and will be provided with individualized tutoring when needed.  In addition, workshops will be provided to aid teens in the transition from middle school to high school, including SHSAT prep classes.  Teens will learn various skills and techniques for participating in team sports and will engage in friendly competitive games that will teach positive sportsmanship and teamwork.  They will also develop multiple skills throughout the year such as arts, sciences, cultural activities and much more!

Program Details:

The BeTween Space program will run from October through June and will operate Monday – Friday, 3:00-6:30pm and will end at 6:00 on Fridays.

Teen Membership is included in the cost of the Middle School Center fee. Teens will have access to the pool, fitness center, open gym play, Teen Lounge where they can spend time with friends playing billiards and games, and attend social and volunteer trips.

Fees Per Month:
5 days/week - $250
4 days/week - $240
3 days/week - $225
2 days/weel - $195
*Transportation available for additional $200 a month.
