Kathrene Gofman
Kathrene currently works as Director of Teen services at the JCH of Bensonhurst. She has worked for the J in multiple capacities, from camp specialist to Camp B’Yachad Madricha. She has a BA in Corporate Communications as well as a double minor; one in law and one in HR. As Director of Teen Services she will continue to build programming for experiential Russian-speaking Jewish Learning.
Michael Shamilov
Michael Shamilov has been at the Marks JCH since he was 5 years old. He is currently the Teen Program Coordinator at the Teen Office where he has been for the past 5 years. He was once a participant in teen programming and is dedicated to serving the community of Russian-speaking Jewish teens at the Marks JCH. He is currently finishing his last year in Brooklyn College with a major in Children & Youth Studies and a minor in Marketing.
Dylan Lawson
Dylan is a Mental Health Supportive Counselor in the teen program here at JCHB. He graduated from New York University as a Master of Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness and has spent several years providing individual, group & family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, as well as parent coaching for parents. Dylan has also spent several years working for a school where he supervised psychosocial staff. Dylan facilitates workshops for parents, provides individual and group supportive counseling for teens & tweens, and helps support and train staff in learning helpful tools in working with these age groups. Dylan is so very pleased to be a part of a very warm and welcoming community of people who are all committing their time to giving back to the community. In his free time, you might find Dylan snowboarding, skateboarding, playing competitive video games, or snuggling with his two adorable kitties.
Daniel Price
Daniel Price has been at the Marks JCH since 2017. He is our Public Relations Coordinator. His interest in bridging the gap in generations in our community has brought the elderly and teens closer together. He is majoring in Anthropology and Communications at Brooklyn College. He continues to stay determined to serve the community of Russian-speaking Jewish teens.
Deana Price
Deana Price is our Operations Coordinator and is our point person for our Butler program. She is currently a student at the Koppelman School of Business at Brooklyn College and is working towards her Bachelor of Business Management. She has been working at the Marks JCH since she was 15 and has been working for the Teen Department for 3 years. She is very excited to be a part of this team and this Jewish community.
