Hands-on support and resources for new mothers, infants, partners and families

Becoming a parent is a beautifully transformative and exciting time with lots in store. Having good support along the way is essential to overcoming the challenges something so new can bring. The Marks JCH is excited to launch a new initiative aimed at providing supportive, culturally appropriate and focused care to new Russian-speaking Jewish mothers, partners, and their infants during the sensitive prenatal and postpartum stages of parenthood. The program will offer a variety of hands-on and in-home services for brand new families including but not limited to:

  • Reduction of social isolation through new parent and infant groups and peer support workshops
  • New parent resources and supportive interventions such as breastfeeding classes, infant movement, and development classes, postpartum mental health resources, prenatal swim and more
  • Access to expert consultants including social workers, lactation specialists, childbirth educators, clinicians and doulas
  • Jewish family engagement opportunities for families with infants

Group Activities and Classes Include:

  • New Mother’s Circle
  • Breastfeeding with Success
  • Postpartum Prep & Newborn Care
  • Prenatal Yoga and Breath
  • Developing Family Values, Rituals and Culture
  • Infant Milestone Development
  • Identity Shifts from Motherhood to Working Mom and Beyond
  • Restore Your Postpartum Core and Pelvic Floor

In-Home Services Include:
