The Zehut Teen Center offers a wide variety of clubs and activities – Come and find the club that’s right for you:

    B’Yachad Leadership Institute (BLI)

BLI was born out of Camp B’Yachad – a successful overnight camp for middle school and high school students that have engaged Russian-speaking Jewish Teenagers for the last 11 years!

BLI offers year-round leadership and engagement opportunities for high school teens. Teens will have an opportunity to choose one of four tracks, each based on Jewish values of communal obligation – philanthropy, volunteerism and service (please see below for tracks.)

BLI will bring together the teens of all four tracks in an immersive weekend retreat over Shabbat – allowing for in-depth group learning and opportunities for activism and leadership!

BLI 2019 retreat will be taking place in Washington D.C. – highlights include:

-Exploration of Capitol Hill, Library of Congress, U.S., National Harbor Marina

-Evening tour of D.C. monuments and memorials

-Experiencing the vibrant Jewish offerings of the city from an interactive Shabbat program to learning at the U.S. Holocaust Museum

-Participating in volunteer and social activism opportunities

-Joining in on conversations with an array of inspirational Jewish leaders and thinkers based in D.C.

BLI Retreat Tuition: $300 (No additional costs: all meals, accommodations, transportation, activities included)

Upon registration, you will receive an itinerary, FAQ’s, packing list, as well as additional forms required prior to BLI retreat attendance
