The Mission of the Marks JCH School of Music and Dance is to provide music and dance instruction and educational programs as well as performances for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds so as to inspire people to use their inherent creative ability to its fullest potential. We value Cultural Arts education and much attention is given to cultivating young talent. The program consists of multi-faceted aspects of Music and Dance education including Musicgarten for our youngest, classical and modern dance classes, private instrument instruction, musical theater and a concert band. There are recitals and performances throughout the year, and a week-long intensive Cultural Arts Specialty Camp during the summer. The Center for Dance Studies provides comprehensive classes for children (beginning at age 3) and teenagers (up to age 14). On-going classes are offered in creative dance, modern dance, ballet, pointe, jazz, tap and latin dance. There are 3 semester in a year September to June, and 22-24 sessions per semester. At the end of the each semester, all students are invited to perform in the Fall, Winter and Spring Recitals. Dance levels are based on age and instructor's recommendation.

An opportunity for a well rounded education for your child. An hour and a half program, that entertains and educates. Through singing, chanting, listening in during musical games, exploration of instruments, and musical dramatizations, children's capabilities for musical expression are developed and encouraged. Through a unique blend of gymnastics and movement children improve balance and coordination.; by experiencing an ever changing obstacle course where they will learn how to tumble and go on to learn advanced moves like cartwheels and handstands. At the end of the each semester, all students are invited to perform at the Fall, Winter, and Spring Recitals.
