Memory Book

In 2010, the Marks JCH of Bensonhurst sponsored a unique project, publishing the Memory Book. It took several months and dedication of staff, volunteers, survivors, relatives, family members and friends to collect 200 individual and unique stories of survivors and WWII veterans to publish in one 122-page book. This book will ensure that the legacy of these survivors will live on for years to come.

The legacy of the Holocaust reveals itself in this series of stories written by members of the Holocaust Survivors, WWII Veterans and Leningrad Siege Survivors Group. The stories cover the ongoing impact of the Holocaust, both for the survivors themselves and for subsequent generations. They offer very personal perspectives.

The Marks JCH of Bensonhurst believes in the responsibility to keep the memory of the Holocaust alive among the next generation of Jewish people. The agency is grateful to all the sponsors who dedicated their time and effort to make this book a reality.

For more information about the Memory Book, please contact Marks JCH of Bensonhurst, 7802 Bay Parkway, NY 11214, USA, or 1-718-331-6800 ext. 169.
