This Neighborhood Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NNORC) is a Free program serving everyone 60+, living between 77th and 86th Street and 20th and 23rd Avenues, in Bensonhurst. The program offers services at clients’ homes and at the Marks JCH:

  • SOCIAL SERVICES: case management, help with benefits, advocacy, referrals; Consultations in the office and home visits by the Registered Nurse and Social Worker; long term care planning for members and their families to help them stay in the community as long as possible; blood pressure checks, health education and wellness workshops; help and advocacy with Safe Transitions from the hospital or rehab center back home
  • SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: Yiddish Conversation, friendly phone calls, volunteer opportunities, Advisory Committee.

Funded by NY State Office for the Aging, Skirball Foundation and UJA-Federation of NY.

Our Partners: Jewish Community Relations Council/Cause-NY, Metropolitan Jewish Health System, and Visiting Nurse Service of NY.
