Citizenship Classes and Citizenship Application Help
All immigrants with any legal status who live in the USA for more than 4 years can use the help of Marks JCH staff with filling out citizenship application forms (n-400 and n-648). We provide classes geared towards new Americans that prepare you for the written and oral citizenship examination.
This programs is run with the help of our partner NYLAC (New York Legas assistance Group).
The emphasis of this program is on new Americans. Helping the recent citizens to navigate the American Political Structure as well as become actively involved in it. The volunteers organize various community events, meetings with local politicians and participate in city/state–wide rallies. This program is instrumental during election times with volunteers all over the community getting people to vote, work at poll booths and translating to non-English speakers.
